Hi everyone,
Good news for construction workers in the Kings Worthy area. It seems that the affordable homes are approved.
I followed a couple of articles on Hampshire Chronicle and it seemed that previously a lot of fuss was made about the homes being to close to the duel carriageway – and yet now I read in the Southern Daily Echo they are still continuing with the development.
I while back I thought I would qualify for a mortgage and started looking at a couple of homes. One of the homes the agent showed me was part of a cluster of homes near a duel carriageway. I could see and hear every car, truck and motor cycle. The noise was unbearable.
Maybe it is a sound you get used to after a while but needless to say I didn’t buy the house or any house for that matter – turns out I don’t earn enough haha. Duh! Don’t know what I thought. 
But the point is, it is great the county is getting more affordable housing. I am also glad that new Hampshire jobs in construction etc is made through the venture.
